The decision to title this blog  METAMORPHOSIS, was not an easy one but it was a natural one,  the true art of portraiture is a collaboration with the heart and soul of both the person in front of the camera and the artist with the lens being able to grasp the change – the growth – the new confidence found at each stage – sometimes we as artists need to draw from within to pull it out and let it fly – and yes – we entice it out through the magic ability we’ve been given as photographers

The true portrait tells the viewer who the subject is without a word being spoken.  It opens the soul to the world.
